What a beautiful Sunday.
Today we woke up a little early to go to Hot Water Beach while the tide was low. Seriously one of the coolest beaches I have ever been to. Everyone gathers there at low tide in only one area to dig little hot spring pools with spades and then they sit in the little pools which are warmed by super hot volcanic matter under the sand. It was so incredible that the water was so hot under the sand in just one area. The ocean, only a few feet away, was still freezing cold.
The beach had these really great rocks with a beautiful yellow/orange texture. There huge rocks sticking out of the water and I got a sweet picture of Roxy jumping off of them. Then we went to the Market in Coroglen where Wilderland was selling their fruit and honey at, it was super cute. Wilderland’s selection was the best of course, but the other farms there had sweet stuff. Some were making waffles and egg/bacon sandwiches. Zooey and Ana were busking which was super adorable, and I got some really good pictures with my film camera. I am super excited to see how they turn out, I think they are going to be amazing. Especially the pictures of the buildings at Wilderland.
After we came back I helped Russel with a photo shoot of the new honey labels. I am really excited that I could help and leave mt mark on Wilderland (as Russel said…)
Kayla helped me make a delicious dinner after the group meeting which I thought went very well. It was a good night! But I was exhausted and went to bed at like 9:00…It was wonderful.
So much adventure for one little Sunday.
